FAQ's
What do you do?: We rent kids fun rides for children under the age of 6. We are not an event location.
What are kids fun rides?: Kids fun rides are electrically operated mechanical character rides that rock back and forth on a stationary base.
Do Kids like them?: They LOVE them. Kids enter into an imaginary world when they ride on a character ride- their eyes light up! It's truly special to see their interactions with the rides in an increasingly digital world and families come back year after year.
How do they work?: The character rides are push button activated and each ride goes for 1 minutes before coming to a stop, at which point the button can be pressed again to activate the machine.
What must I do?: Once you've made your booking, you can collect the ride(s) at our location on Old Clayburn Rd, Abbotsford. You will return the rides after your event.
What is the ideal age?: Kids fun rides are very popular with children of different ages. Generally, our character rides are a favorite with children ages 2-6 although often 1 year old children will enjoy them too.
How many character rides should I order?: Recommended order size. For 5 or less kids- 1 to 2 units. For 6 to 10 kids- 2 to 3 units. For more than 10 kids- 3 to 4 units.
What do I need?: All you need is an electric plug to plug in the character rides.
How many character rides can I plug into an electric socket?: Up to 6 character rides can be safely connected to an electric socket.
Can I use electric extension leads?: Yes, you can use them to connect the character rides to electric sockets located further away. Electric extension leads are not supplied by Kids Fun Rides Inc. (Each character ride comes fitted with its own 1m long electric cord).
Are attendants supplied by Kids Fun Rides?: Attendants are not supplied by Kids Fun Rides Inc. Parents and guardians, please supervise the children while using our character rides.
How many children can ride at a time?: Only one at a time.
Are you an event location?: No, we are not an event location. Rented Kids Fun Rides go to your location, for your event.
Do you offer shipping?: No. You will need to collect, and return after your event.
Can I cancel my order?: We understand that things happen. You may cancel your order at any time prior to your event and receive a full refund. We'll be there when you are ready to book again.
What if it rains?: No problem. Move the character rides inside and the party continues.
Can the rides go inside?: Yes. Character rides are up to 70cm wide and fit through standard doors, so come rain or shine, your event can go on.
How much do the rides weigh?: Each character ride weights 77 to 88 lbs (35 to 40 kgs). Wheels are mounted underneath on the one side, so one person can easily wheel them across the floor, while two people can carry them up stairs.
Will my floor get damaged?: No. Our character rides have Teflon wheels on the one end, and rubber stoppers on the other end. They rest on the surface they are placed on, but do not damage it.
Will the colors and features of characters be the same as the website displayed images?: The colors and features of the character rides may vary slightly from the images displayed.
Are the rides safe?: Our character rides are checked before the event and you can collect them in a safe, clean, and operational working order.
